About Me :

My name is Debi short for Deborah aka wildflower. I am married and have a Beautiful family. I am mother to 2 grown children and Grandmother to 5 very precious grandchildren and I must not forget the girls(canines) Precious & Angel. Precious passed on January 23rd of this year. My Heritage spans several cultures. My native american (Tsalagi-Cherokee) is one that was almost lost to me. As a small child I would have dreams which I did not understand. However years later I started asking questions. So many have passed on and I have searched tirelessly for answers. All I have is word of mouth, forgotten names, and of course my dreams. It seems dreams are a gift passed down from my mothers fathers side of the family. I am free spirit, that is I travel many paths seeing through the eyes of the spirit. I have been shown all is one. I have a very great respect for all nature and speak with animals, in a spiritual sense I guess one could say. I have several (totems) spirit guides, I am not good in discribing myself (smiles). I want to thank my BS Dale for inviting me to this wonderful site. I look forward to learning more about the life and traditions of my BS. " to-hi-du" (Good Peace)

THE GREAT WHITE BUFFALO
When the sun goes down
And the moon comes up,
When the winds begin to blow
And the clouds start to gather,
Across the stars you can see
The spirit buffalo begin to run.

When the air fills with static
And nature unleashes itself,
When the wilderness creatures gather about
And lend their song of life in harmony,
Through the sky you can see
The great white buffalo rumble on.

But when the land is misused and overrun
And its beauty spent and corrupted,
When nature is stripped and ravaged
And pollution flows in its veins,
You can see in the clouded sky
The buffalo stumble, fall and die.

Yet if you give of yourself and work to help
And listen to the voice of the earth,
If you dare to hope and believe
In things greater than man,
You may yet see in the star-swept sky
A small white buffalo running by.
