thank tom I will get a hold of them. they would like to her from you to. also I met a lady friend here that want to take a group out to find the local herbs and medicine for us aboriginal group
I am currently on a path in life that is teaching me how to use the different roots, herbs etc.. for healing. We have lots of rat root here but as I am using it to treat people, I have run a bit low this year. I have used the inner bark of both the poplar tree and the birch trees for different kinds of medicines. When mixing medicines of this kind, I am told that adding rat root enhances the properties of the other herbs. I have used the bark of the balsom tree to treat many different types of things, mostly to extract of draw out sicknesses. I have used the lily pad root(very hard to cultivate) as an antibiotic and works quite well. I use bear root for treating ailments of the mind and the stomach, I use sweetgrass and sage both as a smudge and as an additive in different mixtures of medicines. There are som many different types of medicines here in the north that I could go on and on and on.....but for now I will leave you with these for thought for today.
Cheers!
