Does anyone make Metis period clothing & design?

I'm working on some vests but they're not too "traditional".... one is synthetic fleece with beadwork (I just did the beadwork) and the other that I'm making from scratch is black leather with fringe.
I started a pair of high moccasins but gave up because of all the beadwork- I'd like to maybe do a smaller pair and make leggings to go with it.
